Zavod Azum was founded in 2015 for the purpose of creative activities, research, counselling and educational as well as therapeutic activities.
We are attempting to bring art and culture closer to the people, i. Our activities are mainly oriented toward vulnerable groups or those from socially disadvantaged environments in which we include therapeutic (health) and psychosocial viewpoints. Therefore we engage also in projects that are not directly linked to performing arts but strive toward meeting our goals.
Azum Institute is an organization in which art, research and education are combined in order to contribute to spreading knowledge, expanding horizons and activating individuals as well as groups of people.
Competence and Expertise Offered
In ten years of existence, Zavod Azum succesfully took part in EU projects as well as working within national and local contexts. Main focus in which we have plenty experience are creative arts approaches with work with vulnerable groups (elderly, migrants, first-time or long-term employment seekers, people with learning disabilities-special needs) as well as children. Although drama approaches are our forte, we often integrate different kinds of creative arts.
Expertise sought
We are looking for partners with similar values and purpose to cooperate with in developing strategies to promote use of arts in health, education and social work environment. We would like to exchange knowledge and build a reliable network.
