CZEPA is a Czech NGO supporting people with spinal cord injuries and promoting accessibility and equal opportunities for wheelchair users.
CZEPA is a Czech non-governmental organisation representing and supporting people with spinal cord injuries. It provides professional social services, promotes independent living, accessibility and equal opportunities, and advocates for the rights and needs of wheelchair users. CZEPA also works to improve public awareness, influence legislation and public policies, and promote a more inclusive and accessible society.
Competence and Expertise Offered
CZEPA offers expertise in social counselling, peer mentoring, prevention programmes and advocacy. We also have extensive experience in designing and implementing short-term projects and programmes supporting people with spinal cord injuries and promoting their independence and inclusion.
Expertise sought
We seek expertise in accessibility of buildings and public spaces, particularly from the perspective of wheelchair users. We are interested in Norwegian experience with accessibility legislation, its implementation and enforcement, advocacy, cooperation with public authorities, and practical solutions for removing barriers.
