We are an NGO operating in Northern Greece that has a holistic view towards violence, targeting both perpetrators and victims.
Via Stop” is a Greek non-profit organization with the primary objective of combating any form of violence.
• Aims at providing assistance, psychological support and therapeutic approaches (to all individuals who are subjected to domestic violence
• Becomes the connecting link as needed between victims and social, legal and welfare services, and provides strategies and specialized assistance targeted at the victim’s safe exit from the violent environment.
• Creates and implements domestic violence perpetrator programs
Competence and Expertise Offered
We have accumulated experience in multi-agency cooperation, both at a local, as well as at a national level. VIA-STop has also been implementing violence prevention programs in schools since 2012, and perpetrator programs for violent offenders since 2011, with vert low recidivism rates.
Expertise sought
We are seeking partners who work in the field of domestic or gender-based violence. We are particularly interested in organisations that offer perpetrator programs and also implement risk assessments.
