Asociația Speranța Tineretii (“Hope of Youth”) is an NGO from Tulcea, gateway to the Danube Delta. We bring hope and opportunities to our community.
Fields of work: civic participation, diversity and inclusion, media literacy, socio-emotional education, culture and sport for youth, adults and seniors in a multi-ethnic, underserved region of SE Romania. We run the EU Voices Club (70 youth), weekly sessions on disinformation and critical thinking.
Project ideas: promoting diversity, gender equality and preventing gender-based violence through education and psychosocial support ; civic participation in underserved Danube Delta communities resilience to disinformation as a democratic competence.

Expertise sought
We seek a Norwegian CSO experienced in gender equality, rights-based work or inclusion, as partner in a medium grant project on diversity and prevention of gender-based violence; we are also open to cooperation on civic participation and media literacy. We seek knowledge exchange: Norwegian methods in advocacy, volunteering and community work. We offer expertise in media literacy and psychosocial support, training competences, international experience and deep roots in a diverse community.
