Description
MTÜ Noortealgatuste Tugi empowers young people in Ida-Virumaa to turn ideas into action. We strengthen youth participation and cooperation.
Our main field is youth participation, civic engagement and support for youth-led initiatives in Ida-Virumaa. We run a regional network of youth organisations, support young people from idea to implementation and cooperate with municipalities and NGOs. Project ideas include youth participation programmes, civic education, local democracy, youth leadership, volunteering, media literacy and intercultural dialogue.
Competence and Expertise Offered
We offer expertise in youth work, youth participation, project management, non-formal education, community engagement and cooperation with local stakeholders. We can contribute methods for supporting youth-led initiatives, organising youth events and training, building regional youth networks, communication and outreach, and engaging young people in civic and democratic processes.
Expertise sought
We seek partners with experience in democracy, civic education, youth participation, advocacy, media literacy and human rights. We are interested in exchanging methods, co-developing long-term projects, building international networks and learning from organisations with strong expertise in policy dialogue, inclusion and sustainable civil-society cooperation.
