Non-profit association whose mission is to promote Integral Education of people of all conditions and ages in a perspective of human development.
EDU.IN views Integral Education as a holistic and ongoing process, aimed at the integral development of individuals; and regards it as a collective responsibility involving individuals, social organisations and communities.
EDU.IN researches and develops ways and methods to promote holistic education across the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, cultural and spiritual dimensions, as well as their many interconnections.
EDU.IN carries out its activities whilst respecting human rights, the global ecosystem, equitable citizenship, intercultural dialogue and full democracy.
Competence and Expertise Offered
EDU.IN was founded in April 2022 by professionals volunteers with different academic backgrounds, all of them, in one way or another, linked to education, and with experience of working on research and social intervention projects.
The association’s activities have mainly been aimed at adults with limited education, skills gaps and a vulnerable socio-economic situation, including migrants and minorities, primarily through European Union projects.
Expertise sought
To establish partnerships with organisations and experts, from an interdisciplinary perspective, with a view to designing and implementing projects for human development in all its dimensions, both individual and social.
EDU.IN is a member of the Lisbon Community-Based Local Development Network, an organisation covering 67 social intervention areas in Lisbon, which offer great potential for the application of action research and collaborative experimentation.
