We are a small NGO founded in 1997 in Piatra Neamt, Romania. Our purpose is to contribute to the socio-economical development of our community.
The mission of the association is the sustainable development of local communities, economic units, institutions and organizations. Our purpose is to support and promote: scientific, technical research and innovation, economic and social development, ecology and environmental protection, ergonomics, management, professional training, increasing the knowledge and participation of NGOs and civil society in the development of democracy in local communities, supporting local public administrations, etc. We aim to expand our expertise in the social field.
Competence and Expertise Offered
We provide our expertise in: organizing formal and non-formal training courses for adults and disadvantaged groups, Roma NEETs, Women at risk, unemployed and rural population, both physically and online; professional counselling, local needs analyses, identifying resources and skills; awareness activities on equal opportunities and gender, non-discrimination, accessibility for people with disabilities, sustainable development, and demographic changes.
Expertise sought
We seek expertise with preventing/ending gender-based violence through professional training and policy change. We also seek expertise on the integration of immigrants through socio-economical inclusion, education and language, and civic/cultural participation. Lastly, we seek to improve our expertise on environmental initiatives through civic participation, watchdog activities, focused on air/water pollution or green energy.
