ACEP is a Portuguese civil society association established in the early 1990s to promote a more equitable and inclusive world through cooperation and active citizenship. We work on civil society and governance, human rights, research, networking, communication and advocacy, fostering knowledge exchange and partnerships, particularly in Portuguese-speaking countries. We are interested in collaborative projects that strengthen civil society, promote democratic participation, human rights, social inclusion and sustainable development.
Competence and Expertise Offered
ACEP offers expertise in project design and management, civil society strengthening, capacity building, facilitation of multi-stakeholder partnerships, participatory research, advocacy, communication and public engagement. We bring extensive experience in working with civil society organisations, public institutions and local communities, particularly in Portuguese-speaking countries.

We seek partners with complementary expertise in civil society strengthening, human rights, active citizenship, gender equality, migration, governance and advocacy.
