Description
CeSIP is a Romanian organization producing applied political science research, civic education and professional training for democratic governance.
CeSIP (Centre for the Study of Political Ideas) is an independent Romanian organization founded in 2010, working in applied political science research, civic education and professional training. We run our own data infrastructure for monitoring parliamentary and media discourse. We are developing a project on independent civic monitoring of local implementation of Romania’s national Open Government Strategy (2025-2030), building a network of grassroots CSOs across non-metropolitan communities to assess and advocate for transparency and public consultation practices at local level.
Competence and Expertise Offered
Applied research methodology, data collection and analysis through our own infrastructure (parliamentary and media discourse monitoring), policy brief writing, training design and delivery, and coordination of multi-stakeholder civic networks. Demonstrated ability to translate research findings into advocacy targeted at both local and national public institutions.
Expertise sought
A partner from a Donor State with expertise in open government, local government transparency, or citizen participation, interested in exchanging methodology, co-developing monitoring tools, joint advocacy, or contributing a comparative perspective on accountable local governance in an EEA-funded project.
