Description
DCTR is a Portuguese non-profit using participatory arts and non-formal education. We advance inclusion, active citizenship and community agency.
DCTR – Associação Cultural is an Aveiro-based Portuguese non-profit with over 15 years of experience in participatory arts, cultural mediation, non-formal education and European cooperation. We work with children, young people, adults, older people, migrants and disabled people. We are developing a Capacity Lab to strengthen DCTR and pilot a community of practice for small and medium-sized CSOs, combining organisational development, peer learning and arts-based approaches to inclusion, civic participation and human rights.
Competence and Expertise Offered
We offer tested methods in participatory dance, performance and community arts; non-formal education; inclusive facilitation and accessibility; community co-creation; EU project coordination; stakeholder engagement; and qualitative evaluation. DCTR can host pilot labs in Aveiro and Lamego and mobilise a network of CSOs, municipalities, theatres, social organisations and community groups for testing, documentation and dissemination.
Expertise sought
We seek a Norwegian CSO experienced in organisational development and coordinating communities of practice or peer-learning networks. Priority expertise includes strategic planning, network governance, staff and volunteer development, funding diversification, impact measurement and civic education. The partner should co-design and mentor the Capacity Lab, contribute practical tools and case studies, join pilot sessions and help validate a transferable model for small and medium-sized CSOs.
